This year on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Dialysis Service at our Hospital, a series of commemorative activities have been carried out.
Within these activities, music was played to the patients undergoing treatment at our Medical Service to make the moment more enjoyable.
An activity was also carried out aimed at patients who attended the consultation at Parque Batlle and Carrasco Clinic, where they were informed about the prevention methods for renal failure.
The Lic. Enf. Norma González together with Aux. Enf. Gabriel Hernández received the attending patients at the entrance hall of both polyclinics, in order to recommend healthy habits for the prevention of kidney disease.
Hemogluco tests and blood pressure measurements were carried out in a preventive way, the importance of eating healthy foods and eliminating or reducing the amounts of salt consumed was discussed, depending on each case.
We congratulate the Dialysis Service for its 40 years of providing care focused on the quality life of the patient and promoting these instances of prevention.
